London, February 2026 Dearest, How are you? How long it is since we spoke, I hope you're well? I visited Berlin this weekend to visit one of my dearest friends and what a wonderful time I had. The last time I went to Berlin, I was still studying at the Royal Academy and quite frankly hated every second of it, the RA and Berlin. We spent our days walking through a dreary and dreadfully ugly east Berlin, Brutalist blocks (they should all be razed to the ground), joyless streets and even worse 'art' you know, the one you need to understand. Well you know me, I don't want to understand any of those things, I want to look at something beautiful and fall in love! Boys or otherwise... But this time everything was different, I'm different, life is different. So there I was, on a plane after ten years of asking me (yes, its true), on my way to Berlin to see him.
